Milam is an unincorporated community in Sabine County, Texas, in the deep East Texas Piney Woods near the Louisiana border. Founded in 1828, it is one of the oldest communities in the county and sits prominently on the historic El Camino Real, the colonial-era road that carried settlers and travelers through the region.
